This publication is devoted to breweries and sugar refineries that have been demolished since 1945. Its goal is not to document every brewery and sugar refinery demolished in this period, but rather to focus on those enterprises that were among the most valuable objects because they applied new technologies and featured exceptional architecture. The text is accompanied by numerous illustrations and never before published photographs and includes the exact GPS coordinates of the sites.
